Steve Harvey Foundation

The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation and Premiere Networks announced today a partnership with Sam’s Club to give away 6,400 turkeys as part of the annual Steve and Marjorie Harvey’s Big Turkey Give.  On November 24 and 25, more than 60 affiliates of The Steve Harvey Morning Show will give the turkeys away to help those less fortunate celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.  Since the Big Turkey Give was launched in 2009, approximately 39,000 turkeys have been provided to those in need.

Sams logo“Sam’s Club is proud to be a part of every community where we do business through our giving efforts and volunteerism,” says Don Frieson, executive vice president of operations for Sam’s Club.  “We’re happy we have the opportunity to work with the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation to provide thousands of families in need with a brighter Thanksgiving.”

    Iam a disabled female living in queens N.Y. most years I have been able to buy my own thanks giving turkey but due too the rising cost of food iam unable to afford one this year they are extremely expensive this year some places $25-35 my meager budget does not allow me to spend that much
    on one food item.this year I decided to put my pride adside and ask for help so if any one out there can help me get a turkey it would be deeply appreciated and I would consider myself extremely blessed thankyou
