Kathy BakerColumbia Records has promoted Kathy Baker to Senior Vice President of Digital Marketing. Baker has served as VP of Digital Marketing for Columbia since 2011. In her newly expanded role, Baker will oversee the Columbia Records Digital Marketing Team and be responsible for managing and coordinating the digital marketing staff, as well as the implementation of digitally-focused strategic and creative campaigns for all of Columbia’s releases and label partners. Baker will continue to report to Joel Klaiman, EVP/GM of Columbia Records, who remarked, “Kathy has played a pivotal role in strengthening Columbia’s digital brand. Her blend of marketing and creative skills is emblematic of the entire digital team and the outstanding campaigns they implement for our artists. All of Columbia joins me in congratulating Kathy on this much deserved promotion.”

Baker joined Sony Music Entertainment in February 2001 as Project Manager and Web Consultant for Columbia Records and rose through the ranks. She most recently lead digital campaigns for a diverse array of artists including Beyoncé’s “surprise” self-titled 2013 album as well as Adele, One Direction, John Legend, J.
