Dawn Campbell Upped to APD of WCFB/WPYO-Orlando

Cox Media Orlando has named Dawn Campbell APD of WCFB (Star 94.5) and WPYO (Power 95.3). In addition to her Promotion Manager duties for WCFB, Campbell has also served as MD for both stations for the past two years. In a staff memo, OM Stevie DeMann said, “Although Dawn’s official title with each brand has been Music Director, she has gone above and beyond MD duties and has been a right hand to [Star 94.5 PD] Michael Saunders. Dawn has tremendous insight on both the Urban AC and Hip Hop format (and life groups) and has been an integral part of each station’s success.” Campbell started her radio career at WHJM-Orlando’s 102 Jamz (working with DeMann and Saunders), eventually rising to MD. She joined CMG in August of 2011.
