SheridanBroadcastingCorporation2016Trustees of the AFTRA Retirement Fund and Trustees of the SAG-AFTRA Health Fund are suing Sheridan Broadcasting Networks, Inc. in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, alleging that the company is delinquent on contributions to employee retirement funds.

The suit alleges that Sheridan is behind by $45,591.40 for 2015 and $36,416.77 for the first seven months of 2016, plus more for the remainder of 2016 and 2017 the amount of which is undetermined because Sheridan “has failed to provide the Funds with employee earnings reports for months since JULY 2016.” Sheridan Broadcasting Network filed for Chapter 11 last year.
