New Artist: Herr Dylan Fleming January 13, 2015 Indie Buzz, Music News If you’re anything like me, you’re tired of seeing Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj everywhere. Here at Indie Buzz, we always support our underground female spitters like Vel The Wonder, Barf Troop, and Nova Rocafeller. The next girl to add to the roster is Stone Mountain, GA’s Herr. Don’t expect Herr to have the same style as Childish Gambino just because they’re from the same hood in Atlanta. Think of Herr as a more improved version of Pink Dollaz (a circa 2009 all girl rap group which emerged from LA’s jerkin scene.) Herr has a nice turn up flow that you can just throw on during the pre-game, particularly on the single “The Recipe.” Curren$y fans should dig her 4/20 friendly side as well, so have that lighter and rolling papers ready when you listen to the song “Baked.” I’m looking forward to reviewing a full length project from Herr in the future. Don’t dismiss this chick as a total ratchet, Herr got bars!
