The emotionally honest lyrics and distorted off-key vocals fit together perfectly. Vorhtex is a rapper/singer from Virginia, similar to that of Bones or Lil Peep. It’s Vorhtex rock style vocals over modern hip hop production that makes him unique. His song “SKRT” is one of the coolest break up songs I’ve heard in a while. Along with that there’s “Summertime” which has such a chill melody and subject perfect for the season. Vorhtex has a handful of projects on soundcloud so go listen to them there! Truthfully, I see much potential to Vorhtex. I expect him to be alongside the likes of $uicideBoy$ and Pouya in no time.
